About Brimboal

Brimboal is a small locality in the far west of Victoria, near the Dergholm State Park, a bush reserve traversed by the Glenelg River. Settled from the late 1860s, the district was once home to a small farming community with its own school, opened in 1878, and a race meeting recorded in 1888. Today it is quiet pastoral country of native woodlands and volcanic plains.
