About Nangeela
Nangeela is a locality in south-west Victoria, north of Casterton. The Nangeela homestead, built in the 1860s for William McPherson, was situated near the Glenelg River. The estate remained in the McPherson family until 1920, when it was purchased by the Closer Settlement Board and subdivided for soldier settlement following World War I.
