About Barunah Plains

Barunah Plains is a rural locality in the Western District of Victoria, on the Hamilton Highway near Hesse. The district is grazing country dominated by the heritage-listed Barunah Plains Homestead, an 1860s bluestone station property that was the largest sheep station in Victoria before its subdivision for soldier settlement in 1946.
