About Tennyson (Vic.)
Tennyson is a rural locality in the Shire of Campaspe in northern Victoria, about 35 kilometres south-west of Echuca. Settled in the early 1870s and originally known as Pannoomilloo West, it was renamed Tennyson around 1910 when a community hall and post office were established. The area is dryland and irrigation farming country west of the Bamawm and Lockington irrigation district.
