About Telford
Telford is a small rural locality in the Shire of Moira in northern Victoria, located approximately 10 kilometres south-west of Yarrawonga on the Oaklands railway line. Named after Robert Telford, a Scottish immigrant who acquired the adjacent Yarrawonga pastoral station in the mid-1860s, the locality features flat alluvial plains within the Goulburn Valley irrigation district.
