About Winjallok
Winjallok is a locality near St Arnaud in north-west Victoria, known as the birthplace of the Landcare movement in Australia. The Winjallok Landcare Group was formed in November 1986, launching a national environmental movement. Stricta Hill is a prominent landmark in the district, which has been a sheep grazing area since the 19th century.
