About Paradise (Vic.)
Paradise is a small rural locality in the Northern Grampians Shire of western Victoria, about 180 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. The landscape consists of open grazing country and broadacre cropping land drained by Paradise Creek and the headwaters of the Avon River, with the Grampians ranges visible to the south-west. The area has a heritage school established in 1892 and sits near the Great Western winery belt and Stawell.
