About Laen
Laen is a rural locality in the Shire of Buloke in north-western Victoria, on land used for pastoralism, cereal growing and some dairying. A school served the district until 1986, and a mechanics' institute was recorded by 1910, but no commercial centre developed. The Laen Bushland Reserve preserves remnant vegetation in the area.
