About Koroop

Koroop is a rural locality in the Shire of Gannawarra in northern Victoria, east of Kerang, on an alluvium plain through which the Pyramid and Barr creeks meander. Farm selections were taken up there in the mid-1870s, and a school and post office opened in 1879. The Koroop Hall, formerly used as a skating rink, opened in 1926.
