About Teal Point

Teal Point is a rural locality in the Gannawarra Shire of northern Victoria, near Koondrook on the Murray River floodplain. The Mallee farming country supports irrigated agriculture and dryland cropping, and was once a stopping point on the Kerang to Koondrook tramway, which operated from 1889 until 1981. Red gum wetlands and nature reserves lie nearby.
