About Gannawarra

Gannawarra is a rural locality in the Shire of Gannawarra in northern Victoria, roughly equidistant between the shire's main towns of Kerang and Cohuna. The shire takes its name from the locality, which is in turn named for the 19th-century Gannawarra pastoral run that once covered much of the eastern part of the area.
