About Dooen
Dooen is a locality in the Wimmera region of western Victoria, through which the Henty Highway passes between Mildura and Portland. A post office served the district from 1877 until 1982. The locality is home to a major ABC radio transmitter, built in 1936, and to the Wimmera Intermodal Freight Terminal, opened on the Western standard gauge line in 2012.
