About Chirrip
Chirrip is a small locality in the Mallee country of north-west Victoria, about 12 km south-west of Wycheproof. Its post office opened as 'Chirrup' on 6 December 1890 and closed on 29 February 1964, and the district is now dryland wheat and canola farming.
