About Corack East
Corack East is a locality in the Shire of Buloke in north-western Victoria, about 96 km south-west of Horsham. The district adjoins Lake Buloke, a shallow lake that fills in years of high rainfall and is noted as a wildlife centre. The area was once heavily timbered and was opened to selectors after the 1869 Land Act; its post office operated from 1891 until 1976.
