About Teddywaddy West
Teddywaddy West is a rural locality in the Shire of Buloke in north-west Victoria, part of the Teddywaddy district north of Charlton, west of the Avoca River. The district's name is thought to come from an Aboriginal expression meaning muddy water, and the area was settled in the early 1870s. Teddywaddy West Primary School operated from 1888 until 1974.
