About Banyena
Banyena is a rural locality in the Wimmera region of Victoria, situated at the junction of the Richardson and Avon Rivers approximately midway between Horsham and St Arnaud. It was named after the Banyena Plains pastoral run established in 1844. The area is used for cropping and livestock grazing on the Wimmera plains.
