About Darley

Darley is the most populous locality in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, located 49 km northwest of Melbourne across the Western Freeway. Established in 1838 as an agricultural community on the bend of the Lerderderg River, the suburb is bordered by the river to the east, Korkuperrimui Creek to the west and Lerderderg State Park to the north. Notable landmarks include Darley Oval, home to the Darley Football Club, and walking tracks in the Lerderderg Gorge area with views to Melbourne's skyline.
