About Vermont South
Vermont South is a suburb of Melbourne, 19 km east of the central business district. Its eastern boundary is Dandenong Creek, which flows from the Dandenong Ranges to Port Phillip Bay. The suburb was largely developed in the late 1960s to mid-1970s when orchard land was subdivided for housing, and it retains parklands including Bellbird Dell and the Morack public golf course.
