About Mount Toolebewong

Mount Toolebewong is a locality in the Yarra Ranges east of Melbourne, Victoria, about 65 kilometres from the city, taking its name from the surrounding mountain peak. It is home to the Moora Moora Co-operative Community, an intentional community established in 1974 on about 245 hectares at around 700 metres altitude that has lived off-grid since its founding. The heritage-listed Corranderrk Aqueduct, part of Melbourne's historic Maroondah water supply system, runs through the locality.
