About Kilsyth
Kilsyth is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, located 32 kilometres east of the central business district at the base of the Dandenong Ranges. Named after a town in Scotland, the suburb spans the City of Maroondah and the Shire of Yarra Ranges, with most of the area falling within the latter. The suburb is characterised by residential areas in the north and rural and industrial uses in the south, with established shopping centres, schools and sports reserves serving the community.
