About Nutfield
Nutfield is a rural locality in the Shire of Nillumbik on the north-eastern fringe of Melbourne, about 30 kilometres from the central business district and five kilometres from Hurstbridge. The area was settled from the late 1830s, with land used mainly for grazing, timber-cutting and viticulture. A post office served the district from about 1911 until 1964.
