About Panton Hill

Panton Hill is a town about 32 kilometres north-east of Melbourne's central business district in the Shire of Nillumbik. Originally known as Kingstown, it grew quickly in the mid-1850s Victorian gold rush when prospectors worked the surrounding hills of the Caledonia goldfield, a history still recalled in the local bushland reserves.
