About Bullumwaal

Bullumwaal is a rural locality in East Gippsland, Victoria, located approximately 29 kilometres north of Bairnsdale. Gold was found in Boggy Creek in 1857, and the name is an Aboriginal word thought to mean two spears, representing nearby Mount Lookout and Mount Taylor.
