About Walkerville North
Walkerville North is the coastal section of the village of Walkerville on Waratah Bay in southwest Gippsland, Victoria, about 190 kilometres southeast of Melbourne. It is home to the Walkerville Foreshore Camping Reserve and a beach with boat-launching access at the end of Bayside Drive. The settlement grew around a lime industry whose kilns and jetty shipped limestone until operations closed in 1926.
