About Tarwin Lower

Tarwin Lower is a small town in South Gippsland, 175 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, on the south bank of the Tarwin River. Named after the Tarwin clan of Indigenous Australians, the town is a popular fishing destination and gateway to Venus Bay and Wilsons Promontory.
