About Ryans
Ryans is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Shire of East Gippsland in Victoria, in the hill country of the Mitchell River catchment south-east of Stratford. The Mitchell River flows through the district before reaching the Gippsland Lakes. Historic gold prospecting occurred around Ryan's Peak, which rises within the locality.
