About Hill End (Vic.)
Hill End is a small farming community in the West Gippsland region of Victoria, in the Shire of Baw Baw and the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, about 27 kilometres north of Trafalgar. The district takes its name from the Hill End pastoral run, taken up in 1850 to graze cattle, and later attracted selectors, former gold miners and post-World War I soldier settlers.
