About Fumina
Fumina is a small locality in the Baw Baw Shire of Victoria, in the forested foothills of the Baw Baw Plateau east of Melbourne. Opened to selectors in the 1870s, the district was once sustained by dairying and timber-getting and remains a quiet pocket of farms and forest in the upper reaches of West Gippsland.
