About Forge Creek
Forge Creek is a rural locality about four kilometres south-east of Bairnsdale in the East Gippsland Shire. The open farmland and wetlands near the Mitchell River and Gippsland Lakes system support waterbird populations including pelicans and black swans, and the area is within reach of Victoria's largest navigable inland waterway network. Bairnsdale provides all services including the Gippsland Line rail terminus.
