About Baromi
Baromi is a tiny rural locality in South Gippsland, directly adjacent to Mirboo North. The settlement at Baromi predates Mirboo North — it was the original foothold before the railway line reached a terminus one kilometre away in 1885, prompting Mirboo North to grow around that station instead. The locality sits along the Grand Ridge Road scenic tourist route.
