About Eskdale (Vic.)
Eskdale is a town in the Shire of Towong in north-east Victoria, situated in the Mitta Valley near the river's confluence with the Little Snowy Creek, in the foothills of Mount Bogong. The town has a supermarket, cafe, post office, church, primary school and bowling green, and joins with neighbouring Mitta Mitta in the Mitta United football team, which plays in the Tallangatta and District Football League.
