About Bogong

Bogong is a small mountain locality in the Alpine Shire of north-eastern Victoria, in the Kiewa Valley below Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest peak. Bogong Village was built in the 1940s as accommodation for workers on the Kiewa Hydro-Electric Scheme and sits on the shores of Lake Guy, on the road towards Falls Creek and the Alpine National Park.
