About Nelse
Nelse is a locality on the Bogong High Plains in the Alpine National Park in north-eastern Victoria, about 7 kilometres north-east of Falls Creek. Originally a cattle station among the snow gums, it is home to Wallace's Hut, built in 1889 and listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, and the Bogong High Plains Road from Falls Creek to Omeo passes through it.
