About Wandana Heights

Wandana Heights is a residential suburb of Geelong, about 6 km south-west of the city centre and west of Highton in the City of Greater Geelong. It was first subdivided in 1965 and takes its name from a word thought to be Aboriginal for 'to see far away', reflecting the expansive views over Geelong and the Barrabool Hills. Drewan Park offers a lookout and barbecue facilities, and the Geelong Ring Road skirts the suburb.
