About Modewarre

Modewarre is a rural locality in the Surf Coast Shire, adjoining Lake Modewarre about 24 kilometres southwest of Geelong. The district has a long history dating to the 1850s and its Avenue of Honour, planted in 1918, includes a tree honouring Victoria Cross recipient Albert Jacka.
