About Bambra
Bambra is a rural locality in the Surf Coast Shire, nestled among the rolling hills and forested ridgelines of the Otway Ranges hinterland, about 43 kilometres south-west of Geelong. Named after an Aboriginal word for mushroom, the area has been used for pastoral and dairying purposes since the 1860s.
