About Pennyroyal
Pennyroyal is a rural locality in the Otway Ranges hinterland of Victoria, lying mostly in the Surf Coast Shire with a small section in the Shire of Colac Otway. It sits in a lush valley on the edge of the Otway Forest Park and Great Otway National Park. A station on the Birregurra-Forrest railway line, opened in 1891 and closed in 1957, once served the district, and the 1912 public hall remains. The area is now known for dairy and berry farming.
