About Murphys Creek (Vic.)
Murphys Creek is a rural locality in the Shire of Loddon, Victoria, located approximately 20 kilometres from Bendigo. The area is characterised by open farmland and grazing properties. Murphy's Creek State School opened in 1872 and closed in 1962, and the district was formerly part of the Shire of Bet Bet.
