About Lockwood
Lockwood is a town in the City of Greater Bendigo, Victoria, about 14 km south-west of Bendigo along Bullock Creek and the Calder Alternative Highway. It grew as an agricultural district supplying produce to the Bendigo goldfields and was the administrative centre of the Shire of Marong from 1864 until the shire offices moved to Marong in 1908.
