About Huntly North
Huntly North is a rural locality in the City of Greater Bendigo, Victoria, north of the Huntly township on the Midland Highway, within a few kilometres of Bendigo's urban fringe. The name Huntly, first given to the local parish on an 1854 map, is thought to have been inspired by Huntly in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The area formed part of the former Shire of Huntly, which was amalgamated into Greater Bendigo City in 1994.
