About Eaglehawk North
Eaglehawk North is a locality in the City of Greater Bendigo in central Victoria, about 10 kilometres north-west of the Bendigo city centre, on the edge of the historic Bendigo goldfields. Eaglehawk North Primary School, first established in 1874, still serves the district, and the locality's mining past survives in the New Moon shaft, one of the Bendigo field's old mines later used to pump and treat mine water for the region.
