About California Gully
California Gully is a suburb of Bendigo in central Victoria, about 5 km north-west of the city centre along Eaglehawk Road. It grew from an alluvial gold-mining gully during the 1850s Bendigo gold rush and was once part of the neighbouring borough of Eaglehawk.
