About Balliang East
Balliang East is a rural locality about 45 km west of Melbourne in the Shire of Moorabool, on the open grassland plains west of Bacchus Marsh. It was established as a small service settlement for the surrounding agricultural district, with a post office that operated from 1911 to 1958.
