About Wrattens Forest

Wrattens Forest is a rural locality in the Gympie Region of Queensland, about 40 km south-east of Goomeri. The locality is almost entirely protected land, including Wrattens National Park, Wrattens Conservation Park, Wrattens State Forest and Wrattens Resources Reserve, all named after forestry overseer Bill Wratten. Barambah Creek runs through the locality, which also contains the Barambah Environmental Education Centre.
