About Wattle Grove (Qld)
Wattle Grove is a small rural farming locality in the South Burnett Region, about 17 kilometres west of Kingaroy. It features fertile red-soil farmland on low rolling hills, supporting mixed farming of grain, peanuts and beef cattle grazing typical of the South Burnett hinterland, with the former Wattle Grove State School operating from 1915 to 1963.
