About Mannuem

Mannuem is a small rural locality in the South Burnett Region of Queensland, situated approximately 22 kilometres northwest of Kingaroy and named from Mannuem Creek which flows through the area. The landscape is defined by broad-acre cropping in the east and cattle grazing on native pastures in the west, typical of the Darling Downs hinterland. The area was first taken up as part of the Burrandowan Station in 1843, and the locality retains a close-knit farming community with Kingaroy providing the nearest shops, schools and medical facilities.
