About Walligan
Walligan is a rural locality in the Fraser Coast Region, approximately 12 kilometres west of Hervey Bay. Historically significant for sugar cane production, the area once had a siding on the former Hervey Bay railway line. Today it is a quiet residential community surrounded by native bushland and conservation reserves.
