About Walkervale
Walkervale is a residential suburb of Bundaberg in the Bundaberg Region, Queensland, located 1.6 kilometres south of the Bundaberg CBD and 372 kilometres north of Brisbane. The North Coast railway line runs along the western boundary. St Mary's Catholic Church, opened in 1951, was destroyed by suspected arson in February 2020. Walkervale State School, opened in 1955, includes a special education program. It is served by the State electorate of Bundaberg and the federal division of Hinkler.
