About South Isis
South Isis is a rural locality about six kilometres south-east of Childers in the Bundaberg Region. The Isis River and Sarahana Creek form parts of the boundary, and the Bruce Highway runs along the northern edge. Sugarcane growing dominates the northern half, with a cane tramway feeding the Isis Central Sugar Mill, while grazing on native vegetation occupies the south.
