About Apple Tree Creek

Apple Tree Creek is a rural town and locality in the Bundaberg Region, Queensland, Australia, on the Isis Highway about 6 kilometres north-west of Childers. It was formerly known as Bodalla, a name from the Dundaburra people of the Northern Kabi group referring to the Gregory River Plum, which looked like an apple to the first Europeans. The town was renamed Apple Tree Creek in 1962.
